Before you begin, make sure you've carefully reviewed the Rules, Terms and Conditions below.

Rules and Regulations

You can participate as an individual or in a team of no more than 3.

Age: You should be between 15 and 30 years old; If you are older, you can still participate on a team, providing at least one of your team members is a teen between 15 and 30, and you are still in school.

Region: You DO NOT need to be American citizen to participate. As long as you are legally living in the contiguous United States, Alaska/Hawaii, and all off-shore U.S. territories and possessions you are eligible to participate. This means you can participate if you are a:

• U.S. citizen
• Permanent Resident
• International Student with an F-1 visa or International Scholar with a J-1 visa

Plagiarism: Don't include anything you haven't created yourself. This includes brands, logos and music. Anything but original work will automatically be eliminated from the platform. Try to make sure someone else doesn't have a patent or patent pending similar to your project.

Suggestions/ Tips

• Make sure you read the rules and regulation before you start.
• Before you upload, make sure your video plays properly but do NOT include ANY PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION in your video.
• Make sure all links in your documents work properly.
• Visit our platform site often to check out the projects making it through.

Parental/Legal Guardian Consent

If you are under 18 years old, you must have Parental/Legal Guardian Consent before you submit your project.

You will need your parent’s or legal guardian’s contact information and signature during the registration process. Be aware, we may contact your parent or legal guardian to confirm they have seen and agreed to your participation. Without confirmation, your project could be DISQUALIFIED.

18 or Older If you are 18 or older, you must read and consent to the "18 or Older" section of the Parental/Legal Guardian Consent form in order to qualify for the platform.

Your Teams You will need to assign a team leader in order to register.

The team leader will be responsible for providing all the member(s) of the team, and the parent(s) the terms and conditions of the Parental/Legal Guardian Consent form.

The team leader and his/her parent or legal guardian will confirm that all of the member(s) of the team, and the parent(s) have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions of this consent form.

Help from Us: Are you looking for help? The AAT Project has a professional network that will help you once your project is approved. The AAT Academy is made up of our advisors and consists of educators, scholars, industry leaders, and innovators from some of the top universities and corporations in America. They form a strong support network for the participants in the platform.

Presenting your Project:

Sign in and upload your project. Be Creative! Be Straight Forward! SHOW US HOW AMAZING YOU ARE! Use video and photos to help us better visualize what your project will look like. The more you document your project, the better chance you have of making it into the platform.

Video Guidelines and Suggestions

• Your video must be less than 2 minutes
• Introduce yourself, or yourself and your team members with just your first name(s)
• Clearly explain your project and be specific
• If possible, simulate your project using animation software
• Tell us your inspiration for entering
• Include anything you think will strengthen your project's appeal, including documents, slides, etc., no more than 20 pages total.
